Jack and Molly Campbell enjoyed an idyllic life in their small hometown outside West Palm Beach, Florida with their adopted 5-year-old, Joey. Then they receive the phone call that shatters their world: a social worker delivers the news that Joey's biological father has been released from prison and is ready to start life over, but with his son. When a judge rules that Joey must be returned to his father, the Campbell's, in a silent haze of grief and utter disbelief, watch their son pick a dandelion and blow the feathery seeds into the wind. Struggling with the dilemma of following the law, their hearts, or what they know to be morally right, the Campbell's find that desperation leads to dangerous thoughts. What if they can devise a plan? Take Joey and simply disappear....LIKE DANDELION DUST.

Lights...Camera...Action!

After years of dreaming and months of preparation, the cast, crew and production team were finally ready. It was time to make a movie! Geoff had the blessing of being "on set" for Karen Kingsbury's "Like Dandelion Dust" movie shoot in Jacksonville, Florida, January 15 - March 3, 2008. The long days of work (16, 18 or 20 hours - 7 days/week) were physically exhausting but very rewarding, especially as the actors began to bring these characters, once relegated to words on a page, to life right before their eyes. It truly was amazing! Karen spent several days on the shoot and was often brought to tears at the powerful performances.

During the next few months of post-production, sound track music will be written, the final editing of the film will take place, and then made ready for delivery. Theater release dates will be determined after that. The earliest dates will be the beginning of 2009. We'll do our best to keep you posted.
