At one women's event on our Northwest tour, Jill got to spend time with a precious young gal in a wheelchair following a concert in which Jill had shared her story. The wounds this young woman had endured as a result of horrific abuse and violent paternal rejection, although so different from the source of Jill's wounds, still brought an amazing bond between them that went deeper than words.

As they touched each other's scars and cried tears for each other's pain, they also marveled at the Tender Love of Jesus that goes deeper than the pain and the fear and the loss.

That night, they took hands and agreed together in prayer that the comfort and unfailing love of the Father in heaven would continue to sooth away the hurt and bind up the wounded places in her heart. She left with renewed perspective on how much God loves her and an assurance that He has an amazing plan for life.
